During the third quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications in South America demonstrated varying trends in downloads and active user engagement, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 362K in late July. The app's weekly active users fluctuated slightly, staying above 9M, with a notable increase to nearly 9.8M in early September.

Google Maps Go experienced consistent downloads, maintaining numbers around 230K to 256K throughout the quarter. Active users showed a positive trend, reaching almost 12M by the end of September.

Google Earth saw a moderate download range, with a peak of over 101K in early September. Active users remained stable, averaging around 650K to 680K during the quarter.

Radar - Speed Camera Detector showed a notable rise in downloads, particularly from early July to mid-July when it peaked at approximately 60K. Despite a drop in downloads later in the quarter, active users increased, ending the quarter at over 42K.
